Dr. Ben Atlas

Dr. Ben Atlas was born and raised in San Diego, California and is the second oldest of 6 kids. He attended UCLA and received his Bachelor’s of Science, he then attended University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2017. Following graduation, Dr. Atlas commissioned into the United States Navy as a Dental Officer. During his time in service, Dr. Atlas spent two years aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln Aircraft Carrier, including a record-breaking around the world deployment. He also earned his Master’s in Oral Biology with the US Army while completing a 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, graduating top of his class.

Dr. Atlas is a member of the American Dental Association, the Northern Nevada Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of General Dentistry. He takes pride in his meticulous attention to detail, pain-free approach, and emphasis on providing comprehensive dental treatment, resulting in high-quality and rewarding dental care for his patients. Dr. Atlas is committed to being a lifelong learner and strives to stay current and up to speed in the ever-changing field of dentistry.

In his free time, Dr. Atlas loves to travel, visit theme parks, snowboard, and spend time with his two cats Zack and Zoey. He lives an active lifestyle and is thrilled to be back on the west coast and explore all that the Reno/Tahoe area has to offer!
